Two Can Play At That Game_ In a contest, the opponent can use the same weapon or tactics. 'If you complain to the landlord about the noise, i will complain about the people you bring in at all hours; thats a game that two can play at.'
This art Nouveau piece starts this theme off nicely. A very simple piece which is always good, and yet so clear in what the subject is addressing. Bold and without an array of line detail makes this piece stand out in a fresh way. This also fits with the idiom as well which is just a bonus!

Stephen Holland has painted Roger Federer in such a detailed manor here is quite an overwhelming piece of art. Far from what i aim to produce anyhow. But its still interesting to see.

Another suggestion for the idiom is that of chess and Alice Kent Stoddard has painted this in such a way that it captures everything form the weather conditions to the tobacco in the pipe.
I will have a tough time deciding between tennis and chess for this idiom!

Having collected and finalised my imagery here is the card below in the template i hope to continue with. I have chosen to do this because of the success the last range had with peers and tutors, thus not wanting to deviate too far. Note that the text is in the same fashion as the previous card range, adding continuity:
Here is the front and inside of the envelope developed and adapted from the previous card range project. I have changed the imagery to suit and complement this particular card. I am sticking with this design because it works most effectively and was a success previously.
