Guy McKinley is a new artist on my radar, and one that inspires new work from myself. A simplistic, yet effective study of simple lines, textures and tones, Guy builds up seemingly working class pieces of artwork that I feel are inside my comfort zones to produce. His uncertain genre to work allows him to produce unguided artwork, which is great to see. Even the example image above is uncertain of what it really is.
Because he seems like a new, upcoming artist, his client base is slim and so is therefore his audience, which I know has to happen to the majority of fresh artists, but with an online presence and a constant stream of work that will surely change.
