Bite The Bullet

To Bite The Bullet_ To accept with courage the prospect of a fight or unpleasant experience. 'Now that father is dead we must bite the bullet and learn to put up with hardships.'

Walton Creel sounds the starting gun for the research relating to this idiom with his masterpieces created using bullet holes. Something that i am not intending to do, but find it fascinating non the less.

An illustration next featuring a gun, which is something that i don't plan on doing, just bullets i think.

Now, im guessing that this method of creating artwork is a bit frowned upon as i believe it's done using an iphone (?). However, it is still an interesting bullet inspired piece that simply captures the theme.

The essence of the topic is fully captured here with a literal take on the idiom. SOmething i will take into account within my sketchbooks.

Just to include it, i though it may be an alternative angle, however i think that the reference may be lost on most if i am to pursue it...

Straight to the point, but starting to get predictable now...

Observation reference images:

Having collected and finalised my imagery here is the card below in the template i hope to continue with. I have chosen to do this because of the success the last range had with peers and tutors, thus not wanting to deviate too far. Note that the text is in the same fashion as the previous card range, adding continuity:

Here is the front and inside of the envelope developed and adapted from the previous card range project. I have changed the imagery to suit and complement this particular card. I am sticking with this design because it works most effectively and was a success previously.
